Day 1: Arrival & Spice Farms Tour Stone Town Exploration

Morning:

1. Arrival at Zanzibar Airport: Upon arrival, our team will meet you at the airport and transfer you directly to your accommodation (if needed).
2. Start the Day: After settling in, we’ll begin your adventure with a Spice Farms Tour. Zanzibar is famous for its spices, and during this tour, you’ll explore lush plantations where you’ll learn about the island’s spice history. Enjoy the rich smells and tastes of cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon, and more, and discover how these spices shaped Zanzibar’s culture and economy.
3. Lunch: Enjoy a delicious, local lunch at one of the nearby restaurants, sampling traditional dishes and fresh island produce.

Afternoon:

1. Stone Town Exploration: In the afternoon, you’ll dive into Zanzibar’s Stone Town, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Stroll through its winding streets, soaking in the rich cultural heritage and historical landmarks, such as the House of Wonders, The Old Fort, Darajani Market, and the Sultan’s Palace. You’ll also have time to explore local shops where you can buy unique souvenirs like spices, textiles, and handcrafted goods.
2. Optional Activity: If you’re interested, enjoy a quick stop for a refreshing drink at one of Stone Town’s famous rooftop cafés, with views over the Indian Ocean.

Evening:

1. Relax & Enjoy Dinner: After a full day of exploration, you’ll be transferred back to your accommodation. In the evening, unwind and enjoy dinner at a local restaurant or your hotel. You can opt for a fresh seafood meal or try more Zanzibar-inspired dishes.

Day 2: Prison Island Tour & Departure

Morning:

1. Prison Island Adventure: After breakfast, you’ll be picked up from your accommodation and transferred to the Prison Island. The island is known for its historical significance and giant tortoises, some of which are over 100 years old. You’ll learn about the island's past as a former prison, quarantine station, and sanctuary.
2. Snorkeling and Swimming: Following the tour of the island, you'll have plenty of time to enjoy the crystal-clear waters of Prison Island. Grab your snorkeling gear and explore the underwater world, where you’ll find colorful coral reefs, tropical fish, and maybe even sea turtles!

Afternoon:

1. Return to Zanzibar Mainland & Lunch: After your island excursion, you’ll be transferred back to Zanzibar's mainland. Depending on your flight time, we can enjoy a leisurely lunch at a seaside restaurant, offering breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean.

Departure:

1. Transfer to Zanzibar Airport: After a fulfilling 2 days, we’ll ensure that you are transferred back to Zanzibar Airport in plenty of time for your departure flight.
