Day By Day
Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Airport Transfer: Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, you will be met by a representatives. They will assist with your transfer to Arusha Planet Lodge.
Accommodation Details: Arusha Planet Lodge is a comfortable mid-range lodge offering a relaxing start to your journey. It’s situated in Arusha, a city known as the gateway to Tanzania’s northern safari circuit.
Day 2-3: Arusha to Ndutu Region
Travel Details: After breakfast, you will embark on a drive to the Ndutu region, located in the southern part of the Serengeti ecosystem within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Ndutu Region: Known for the Great Migration's calving season from December to April, Ndutu offers spectacular wildlife viewing with large herds of wildebeest and zebras giving birth.
Accommodation Details: Ndutu Heritage Camp is a mid-range tented camp situated within the Ndutu area. The camp offers comfortable accommodations with an authentic safari experience.
Activities: Game drives focusing on wildlife and the calving season, with picnic lunches amidst the wilderness.
Day 4: Ndutu to Ngorongoro Crater to Karatu
Ngorongoro Crater: A UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the best places in East Africa to see the Big Five (lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant, and rhinoceros). The crater is a caldera formed by a volcanic explosion millions of years ago.
Game Drive: Enjoy a full-day game drive inside the crater, including a visit to the hippo pool for a picnic lunch.
Accommodation Details: Bougainvillea Safari Lodge is a mid-range lodge located outside Ngorongoro Crater. It provides a comfortable stay and is well-positioned for exploring the area.
Activities: Game drive in Ngorongoro Crater, including wildlife viewing and scenic photography.
Day 5: Tarangire National Park to Arusha to Zanzibar
Tarangire National Park: Known for its large herds of elephants and diverse wildlife. The park is also home to a variety of bird species, including the rare yellow-collared lovebird.
Travel Details: After a game drive and lunch in Tarangire, return to Arusha for your flight to Zanzibar.
Accommodation Details: Z Hotel is a luxury hotel located in Nungwi, Zanzibar. It offers a high standard of comfort and is situated on one of Zanzibar’s most beautiful beaches.
Day 6-8: Full Days Relaxation in Nungwi
Nungwi Beach: A popular tourist destination known for its white sandy beaches, clear waters, and vibrant marine life. Activities include diving, snorkeling, fishing, and relaxing on the beach.
Activities: Explore local attractions, engage in water sports, and enjoy the stunning sunsets. Yoga and guided village tours are also available.
Accommodation Details: Z Hotel provides a luxury experience with excellent amenities, including beachside dining and a range of activities.
Day 9: Transfer to the Airport
Departure: Enjoy a final breakfast at the hotel before being transferred to Zanzibar Airport for your departure. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have time for some last-minute shopping or relaxation.
