On Day 1, your adventure begins with an early departure from Arusha at 8 am. You’ll travel 120km (2 to 2.5 hours) through the Maasai steppe and local villages to reach Tarangire National Park. After a brief stop at the park entrance, your morning game drive will begin. Tarangire is renowned for its large elephant herds, iconic baobab trees, and the Tarangire River, which attracts diverse wildlife. During your afternoon game drive, expect to encounter lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and more as you explore the park's varied habitats.
