This 7-day Tanzania adventure offers a perfect blend of wildlife exploration, Kilimanjaro trekking, and relaxation on Zanzibar's stunning beaches. Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

On Day 1, your adventure begins with an early departure from Arusha at 8 am. You’ll travel 120km (2 to 2.5 hours) through the Maasai steppe and local villages to reach Tarangire National Park. After a brief stop at the park entrance, your morning game drive will begin. Tarangire is renowned for its large elephant herds, iconic baobab trees, and the Tarangire River, which attracts diverse wildlife. During your afternoon game drive, expect to encounter lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and more as you explore the park's varied habitats. Afterward, you'll head to Fig Tree Lodge & Camp in Mto wa Mbu, a peaceful base for your overnight stay. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. Accommodation: Fig Tree Lodge & Camp.

Day 2: Tarangire to Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, you’ll journey to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, just 45 minutes to an hour away. Upon arrival, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage site that’s home to an abundance of wildlife. The crater's floor offers a great opportunity to spot lions, elephants, black rhinos, buffaloes, and zebras. After a scenic packed lunch at Engoitoktok picnic site, continue your game drive across the crater, where forests, swamps, and lakes provide a variety of habitats. In the late afternoon, . Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha

Following breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara National Park, located just 30 minutes from your lodge. The park is famous for its soda lake, abundant flamingos, and tree-climbing lions. Your morning game drive will take you through diverse ecosystems, from groundwater forests to acacia woodlands, offering chances to spot large mammals and various bird species. After lunch at a designated picnic site, continue to explore the park. In the afternoon, drive back to Arusha, where you’ll check in at the Arusha Tourist Inn Hotel for an overnight stay. Day 4: Arusha to Mount Kilimanjaro and Zanzibar

On Day 4, begin with an early breakfast and depart for Kilimanjaro National Park, which takes around 2.5 to 3 hours. Once there, you'll start your trek through the montane rainforest, aiming for Mandara Hut. The trail, covering 8km (5 miles), offers scenic views, opportunities to spot wildlife like colobus monkeys, and a side trip to Maundi Crater for panoramic vistas. After completing the hike, you’ll head to Kilimanjaro Airport for your flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, transfer to Mr. Kahawa Waterfront Suites for a relaxing evening. Day 5: Zanzibar City Tour and Prison Island

After breakfast, enjoy a guided tour of Zanzibar City, exploring the historic Stone Town with its narrow alleys, bustling markets, and important landmarks like the Old Slave Market and Freddie Mercury’s house. You’ll learn about Zanzibar’s rich history, including its spice trade and role in the East African slave trade. After lunch, head to Prison Island for a boat trip, where you’ll see giant tortoises, some over 100 years old, and learn about the island’s colonial past. Day 6: Safari Blue Experience

On Day 6, you’ll embark on the highly popular Safari Blue tour. After breakfast, board a traditional dhow and sail to nearby islands. The day will include two snorkeling stops where you’ll explore vibrant coral reefs, possibly spotting dolphins and a variety of marine life. Enjoy a seafood lunch on a sandbank or one of the islands, along with fresh tropical fruits and drinks. After relaxing on the beach, take a swim or explore the mangroves. Return to your lodge in the late afternoon for dinner and an overnight stay. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.

Day 7: Spice Tour and Beach Day

On Day 7, start with a spice tour after breakfast, visiting an organic farm where you’ll learn about Zanzibar’s famous spices such as cloves, cinnamon, cardamom, and vanilla. Following the tour, visit a local market to purchase fresh spices and experience the vibrant culture of Zanzibar. For lunch, enjoy a local dish flavored with spices from the tour. In the afternoon, head to Kendwa Beach, known for its white sands and crystal-clear waters, where you can relax, swim, and enjoy the idyllic setting. In the evening, you’ll be transferred to the airport for your departure or to your hotel if extending your stay. Meals: Breakfast and Lunch.
