Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
- Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport.
- Meet and greet by your safari guide and transfer to your lodge.
- Relax and prepare for the adventure ahead with a safari briefing.
Overnight: Arusha Planet Lodge
Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
- After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park (~2.5 hours).
- Enjoy a full-day game drive in a park famous for its large elephant herds and baobab trees.
- Wildlife sightings may include lions, giraffes, zebras, and many bird species.
Overnight: Sangaiwe Tented Lodge
Day 3: Tarangire – Ngorongoro Highlands
- Optional morning walk near the lodge (if available).
- Leisurely drive through Mto wa Mbu and Karatu to the Ngorongoro Highlands.
- Check into your lodge and enjoy views of the crater rim or lush highlands.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater Tour – Drive to Ndutu (Southern Serengeti)
- Early breakfast and descend into Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive.
- Spot black rhinos, lions, elephants, hyenas, and more in this natural caldera.
- Picnic lunch by the hippo pool, then ascend and drive to the Ndutu area.
Overnight: Ndutu Heritage Camp
Day 5 & 6: Full Days in Ndutu – Witness the Calving Season
- Spend two full days in the Ndutu plains, heart of the wildebeest calving season.
- Watch newborn calves take their first steps and predators like lions and cheetahs take advantage of the abundance of prey.
- Game drives are flexible, with picnic lunches or returns to camp for hot meals.
Overnight: Africa safari southern serengeti
Day 7: Ndutu – Arusha
- Morning game drive (if time permits).
- Transfer to Ndutu Airstrip for your flight back to Arusha (recommended).
- Option to drive back to Arusha (approx. 7–8 hours with picnic lunch).
- Day room and airport transfer for your international flight (if needed).
