Arusha is a gateway to the safari destinations in the northeast. It is located in the Northern Highlands of Tanzania, beneath the twin peaks of Mount Meru and Mount Kilimanjaro. The city of approximately 400,000 people is mostly dominated by 2 big communities; the Maasai and the Meru people.

Our safari will commence as your guide collects you from your hotel in Arusha. From there, we will venture towards Tarangire National Park, engaging in an enthralling game drive. Your guide will identify the ideal location within the park where you will indulge in a delightful picnic lunch before you conclude the game drive.
Tarangire National Park gets its name from the Tarangire River which is the sole source of water for the wildlife during the Dry season. The park is renowned for its abundant population of elephants, striking baobab trees, and African pythons that climb trees.
Day 3
Tarangire National Park - Lake Manyara National Park (1-hour transfer)
Have breakfast and then proceed to Lake Manyara National Park. This day promises an excellent view of Lake Manyara and close encounters with elephants in the woodlands. Visit the renowned Manyara hippo pool where a multitude of hippos gracefully inhabit the water from morning to evening.
The park provides a magnificent perspective of the 400-meter-deep Great Rift Valley. This geological marvel emerged 22 to 25 million years ago when movement in a vulnerable area of the Earth's crust led to the formation of a rift spanning thousands of kilometers across East Africa. The valley's enormity is so extraordinary that it is visible from outer space, boasting unique landscapes that attract a diverse array of animals.
Apart from the captivating Lake Manyara, the park features dense rainforests teeming with numerous troops of monkeys and a rich variety of bird species. Prepare to be immersed in nature's wonders as you explore this captivating ecosystem.
Day 4
Lake Manyara National Park - Serengeti National Park (3-hour transfer)
Wake up to the captivating sounds of Africa, marking the beginning of an exciting day. We will set off early for a thrilling afternoon of observing wildlife in the famous Serengeti. Get ready for an exhilarating game drive through the vast Serengeti National Park, and enjoy a delightful picnic lunch along the way.
The word "Serengeti" comes from the Maasai language and means "endless plains." These expansive grasslands are home to many predators; more than 4,000 lions, 225 cheetahs, 1,000 leopards, 3,500 hyenas, and hundreds of wild dogs! Numerous other magnificent animals inhabit these plains, and your knowledgeable guide will be excited to search for them.
