Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

1. Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport.
2. Warm welcome by your driver-guide and transfer to your lodge.
3. Safari briefing and time to relax before your adventure begins.

Overnight: Arusha Planet Lodge

Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

1. After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park (~2.5 hours).
2. Enjoy a game drive through iconic baobab-studded landscapes.
3. Spot large elephant herds, lions, zebras, giraffes, and rich birdlife.

Overnight: Lake Burunge Tented Lodge

Day 3: Tarangire – Lake Manyara National Park – Karatu

1. Morning drive to Lake Manyara National Park, known for its lush groundwater forest and tree-climbing lions.
2. Game drive along the lake, with possible sightings of elephants, hippos, flamingos, and monkeys.
3. Continue to Karatu for overnight stay in the highlands.

Overnight: Marera Valley Lodge

Day 4: Karatu – Serengeti National Park

1. After breakfast, scenic drive through the Ngorongoro Highlands into the Serengeti.
2. Stop at viewpoints along the way and enjoy a picnic lunch.
3. Afternoon game drive in the central Serengeti (Seronera), famous for big cats and classic savannah scenery.

Overnight: Tanzania Bush Camp

Day 5: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

1. Early morning game drive to catch predators at their most active.
2. After brunch at the camp, begin your drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
3. Optional stop at Olduvai Gorge or a Maasai village.

Overnight: Ngorongoro Tortilis Camp

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha – Departure

1. Early breakfast and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day safari.
2. Explore the “Eighth Wonder of the World” with opportunities to see black rhinos, elephants, lions, hyenas, and more.
3. After a picnic lunch, drive back to Arusha for your outbound flight (optional day room can be arranged).
