6 Day Hiking Mount Kilimanjaro Via Marangu Ruote

You will depart from your hotel in Moshi/Arusha and drive to Marangu Gate for registration before hiking to Mandara Hut (2,700m), passing through lush rainforest. The next leg takes you to Horombo Hut (3,720m), where the trail transitions from rainforest to heath and moorland zones, offering stunning views of Mawenzi and Kibo peaks. An acclimatization day at Horombo Hut allows for a short hike to Mawenzi Ridge (4,400m) for further altitude adjustment. The trek then continues to Kibo Hut (4,703m), crossing the "Saddle," a desert-like plateau between Mawenzi and Kibo peaks, in preparation for the summit attempt. The summit attempt begins at midnight, with a challenging ascent to Uhuru Peak (5,895m), followed by a descent back to Horombo Hut. On the final day, you will descend to Marangu Gate, receiving your Kilimanjaro certificate and returning to your hotel in Moshi/Arusha for a celebratory meal. Meals provided throughout the trek include breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
