Day 1
Transfer from Kilimanjaro Airport to Arusha
Karibu Tanzania! Upon arrival, our driver will pick you up from Kilimanjaro Airport. He will be waiting for you outside at the exit with a name sign. He will bring you to Tulia Boutique Hotel which we have booked for you on half board basis; dinner and breakfast included.
Day 2
Tarangire National Park
Our guide will collect you after breakfast from Tulia Boutique Hotel to start your safari. He will brief you about the safari, the schedule and what to expect. The drive to Tarangire will take about 2 hours. Enjoy the beautiful views of the local villages and Maasai herds on the way.
If you’ve never been to Tarangire (and even if you have), you’re in for a real treat. Tarangire is filled with giants; baobab trees all across the park, as well as elephants. Of the big cats, you’ll probably see lions, cheetahs and leopards around too. Watch out for the wildebeests, giraffes, hippos, buffaloes and zebras. Our guide will take you off the beaten track and share stories about the park and the natural world around you.
As you enjoy your meal at the picnic site, the sound of birds singing and the rustling of leaves in the wind will add to the peaceful and serene atmosphere of the moment. Later we leave Tarangire behind us and drive toward the beautiful Heart & Soul Lodge.
Day 3
Lake Manyara National Park
Where the plains of Northern Tanzania meet the Rift Valley escarpment, Lake Manyara is a wonderful place to spend a safari day. Your highlights for the day might include getting up close and personal with the elephants that made this park famous. Many baboons, as well as one of a few lion populations in Africa, spend much of their time in the trees. Between the forests at the foot of the escarpment and the lake that gives the park its name, enjoy the rich birdlife and the chance of seeing predators ambush their prey.
At the end of our day, we'll head to our next lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. You can relax on the terrace or take a dip in the pool, savoring the beauty and tranquility of the African wilderness.
Day 4-5
Serengeti National Park
We'll depart after breakfast and head toward Serengeti National Park where we will arrive around lunchtime. The Serengeti is one of the world's most famous wildlife destinations. We'll explore the vast plains in search of the Big Five and other animals. The Serengeti’s scenery is also unforgettable – observe Africa’s iconic acacia trees, the park’s golden grasslands and great piles of boulders known as kopjes.
As the sun begins to set, the experience isn't over yet - the journey back to your lodge can be just as exciting. As you make your way through the park, you might catch glimpses of wildlife that are more active in the evening hours. The changing colors of the sky and the warm glow of the setting sun add to the magic of the moment. You'll overnight at Serengeti Wildebeest Camp which is located in the central part of the Serengeti National Park.
The next day, you can enjoy a full day of game drives in the Serengeti. In the evening, we will go back to Serengeti Wildebeest Camp.
Day 6
Serengeti to Ngorongoro Area
Today we wake up early and start the day with a beautiful sunrise game drive. There's something truly magical about experiencing the African wilderness at sunrise, and a sunrise game drive is one of the best ways to do so. The early morning is an incredible time to spot some of the park's most elusive and active wildlife, including lions, leopards, and hyenas. The cooler temperatures and softer light create the perfect conditions for a memorable safari adventure as you journey through the park's vast savannahs and grasslands.
In the afternoon, it will be time to head to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, one of the most stunning and unique parks in Tanzania. The journey to the park is an adventure in itself as you traverse winding roads through breathtaking scenery.
Day 7
Ngorongoro Crater
A game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater is a highlight of any safari adventure in Tanzania. This unique natural wonder is home to an incredible array of wildlife, from herds of grazing antelope to majestic lions and towering elephants.
Journeying through the crater on a game drive, you'll have the chance to spot some of the park's most iconic species, including black rhinoceros, hippo, and wildebeest. Your experienced guide will share insights into the ecology of the region, as well as stories and facts about the fascinating behaviors of the park's many species.
The Ngorongoro Crater is a particularly special location for a game drive due to its enclosed nature. Surrounded by towering walls, the crater forms a natural amphitheater that makes it easy to spot a wide range of wildlife. You'll travel through lush forests and open savannahs, taking in breathtaking views of the crater floor and its many inhabitants.
In the afternoon your guide will take you back to Arusha.
Day 8
Transfer to Zanzibar
After a good night’s rest and breakfast, you'll transfer to Zanzibar for the rest of your holiday. Upon arrival, you'll meet our driver who will take you to Dhow Palace Hotel.
The island of Zanzibar is considered to be one of the pearls of the Indian Ocean. Today you can visit the historic Stone Town. Soak up the history as you explore Zanzibar.
The museums and architecture in Stone Town speak of a rich and varied history, with influences from East Africa and the Indian Ocean. You'll love this place most when the smell of spices and the Muslim call to prayer carries through the streets.
Day 9-12
Zanzibar Island
After breakfast our driver will take you to the eastern part of the Island: Jambiani. If you're seeking adventure and excitement, Jambiani Beach Zanzibar has plenty to offer. The crystal-clear waters and gentle tides make it an excellent destination for water sports and activities. Dive into a world of vibrant marine life by snorkeling or scuba diving in the coral reefs that surround the area.
For many years Casa Beach Hotel has been known for its relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere, and always-smiling staff. Casa Beach Hotel is located in the heart of Jambiani, right in the midst of expansive white sand beaches and brilliant turquoise waters. Its proximity to the village provides guests with the opportunity to meet many friendly locals. Each room features a spacious king size bed or twins beds and a private veranda or balcony with pool views—the quintessential Zanzibar Island beach front resort.
Day 13
Transfer to Zanzibar Airport
Today your driver will pick you up from the Casa Beach Hotel and take you back to Zanzibar Airport for your departure back home. This marks the end of your safari in Tanzania. We hope that you have enjoyed your trip and that you're already planning your next safari. See you next time!
